Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sherry Monocle. Simon Morgan had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Kim!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan scores with a jab.
Kim ducks right into an uppercut from Morgan.
Morgan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Morgan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kim has time to react.
Kim has his takedown stuffed
and Morgan counters with a nice body shot.
We've been told by Morgan's head coaches at English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Morgan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Morgan misses with a series of wild punches.
Kim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Morgan.
Morgan throws a jab but it's blocked by Kim.
Kim has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Morgan tries to bum rush Kim with a series of wild strikes but Kim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kim lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kim might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Morgan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Morgan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kim has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Kim is working Morgan over with some ground and pound from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morgan tries to bench press Kim off him but Kim keeps the position.
Morgan manages to get back to half guard.
Morgan is controlling Kim's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Kim tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morgan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kim wants to work for an arm triangle but Morgan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kim is nestled in close to Morgan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kim is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morgan defends it well.
Kim misses with a head shot. Morgan uses the momentum to regain guard.

Morgan is looking for a triangle but Kim pushes his legs off easily.
Morgan wants to stand up but Kim is controlling him.
Kim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kim throwing strikes but missing.
Morgan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Morgan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kim throws a big elbow that misses.
Morgan is pulling down on Kim's head. It's preventing any offense from Kim, at least for the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Morgan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kim pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Kim shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well.

Kim takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Morgan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morgan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kim somewhat.
Kim shoots and misses
and Morgan counters with a one-two to the body.
Kim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Morgan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Morgan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Kim tries to counter it with a takedown but Morgan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A shot to the liver by Morgan. Beautiful body shot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Morgan. Kim shrugs it off though.
Kim on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Morgan. Morgan obviously looking to wear him down.

Morgan stuns Kim with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Morgan lands with a cross.
Morgan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kim with a poor takedown
and Morgan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morgan cracks Kim with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Morgan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kim can do to turn this around?

Kim shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Despite the aggression on Kim's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Morgan counters with a series of strikes. Kim will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kim goes for a double leg but Morgan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morgan continues to drive forward.

Oooooh!!! Morgan has knocked Kim down with a huge combo! Morgan steps away and waves a wobbly Kim back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Morgan weaves into range and cracks Kim right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kim goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Morgan is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
