Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jet Jones!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush stuffs the takedown.
Jones fails with the takedown.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Rush circles away.
Rush scores a takedown into full mount!
Jones looks gassed!
Jones is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rush scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there.
Rush postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.
Rush has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.
It looks like Jet Jones has been cut.
Rush lands a big shot there that rocks Jones but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Rush looking to secure an arm triangle but Jones defends it well.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
Rush tries to control but Jones wriggling away.
Rush has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rush landing strikes, looking to finish!
The cut above Jet Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rush is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rush cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rush blocks Jones's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rush wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jet Jones's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jet Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
