The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford throws a wild body kick that Schroeder sees coming a mile off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schroeder. Ford does a little dance to reset his feet.
Schroeder throws a right and a left that Ford avoids nicely.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chevy Ford will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
