The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perälä lands a body shot.
Perälä jabs Morozov right on the nose. Morozov blinks but takes it well.
Morozov throws a hook but Perälä blocks it.
Morozov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morozov takes a swing at Perälä's ribcage but misses.

Morozov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perälä circles away quickly and effectively.

Perälä is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Morozov defends well.

Perälä has his foot on Morozov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morozov works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Perälä is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Morozov jumps into side control!

Morozov connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Perälä some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fedor Morozov will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Perälä lands with a thumping leg kick.
Morozov throws a right hand that Perälä ducks under and follows up with a left that Perälä also avoids with ease.
Perälä gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Morozov.
Morozov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Morozov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Perälä - the referee stops the clock and Morozov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Perälä. Morozov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Perälä lunges at Morozov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Morozov's hand.
Morozov shoots in looking for a takedown. Perälä tries to sprawl out of it but Morozov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perälä manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morozov misses with a head kick.
Morozov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morozov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Perälä throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Perälä cracks a nice hook into Morozov's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Perälä lands a nice looking kick to the body. Morozov takes a step back to recover.
Morozov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Morozov is breathing heavily.
Morozov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Perälä fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Morozov.

Perälä drops Morozov with a naaaaasty hook - Morozov is in real trouble here! Perälä dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Taisto Perälä seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Fedor Morozov spoke after the fight, saying 'i want rematch'.
