The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrmä bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tyrmä slips under a jab from Laranja.
Tyrmä tries to clinch up but Laranja circles away and keeps his distance.
Laranja attempts a counter takedown but Tyrmä avoids it well and moves away.
Tyrmä is looking to clinch.
Kauko Tyrmä seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Tyrmä. Those never looked like landing.

Laranja closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tyrmä did well to prevent Laranja getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Laranja tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tyrmä knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Laranja is trying to work for a kimura but Tyrmä is defending well.

Laranja is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tyrmä is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
