Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kasahushi Signuwa!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Signuwa avoids the elbow strike from Hoost, against the ropes.
Hoost has had enough of the clinch but Signuwa keeps him there for the moment.
Hoost wants to break free but Signuwa has control.
Signuwa misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hoost trying to control the position but instead, Signuwa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hoost into the ropes.
Hoost is trying to break the clinch but Signuwa is controlling him.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hoost is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Signuwa is defending well for now.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Signuwa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Signuwa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hoost wants to clinch up but Signuwa keeps it at a distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Signuwa.
Hoost tries to close the distance and clinch but Signuwa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Signuwa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hoost, pushing him back against the ropes.
Hoost misses with a hook to the ribs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Signuwa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hoost's efforts to push away.

Signuwa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hoost wants to clinch up but Signuwa keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kasahushi Signuwa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Signuwa counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Hoost to the mat! Signuwa runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Hoost is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ernesto Hoost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kasahushi Signuwa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Kasahushi Signuwa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Signuwa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
