Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Graveyard Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghost comes to the cage accompanied by Howlin Wolf- Smokestack Lightening. Browne has chosen Bloodsport for all !! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Graveyard Ghost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Browne!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghost misses with a hook.
Ghost connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ghost has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Browne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ghost.
Ghost lands with a shot to the body.
Browne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ghost.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Browne.
Ghost is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Browne's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Ghost is trying to control but can't.
Ghost gets back to full guard.
Ghost keeping moving, preventing Browne from controlling successfully.

Ghost had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Browne defends it easily.
Browne missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Browne is working Ghost over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ghost escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Browne gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Browne cracks Ghost with a solid left hand.
Browne tries to free his leg and advance position but Ghost is retaining full guard.
Browne landing some decent shots from guard.
Ghost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Browne's guard.

Ghost postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ghost works over Browne with some ground and pound from guard.
Ghost loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ghost postures up.

Browne had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ghost defends it easily.

Browne is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ghost keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Browne's head.
Browne is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Browne looking for a guillotine here but Ghost defends easily.
Browne has momentary wrist control but Ghost slips an elbow through the middle.
Ghost cracks Browne with a solid left hand.

Browne has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ghost can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Browne working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ghost doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ghost manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ghost's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Browne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ghost passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Browne wants to control but Ghost postures up.
Browne is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ghost is looking to take a break and control but Browne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ghost has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ghost is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Browne has escaped the position, nice work there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ghost working away.
Browne tries to buck Ghost off but Ghost is having none of it.
Browne struggling a bit here.

Ghost working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ghost in the domination position with Browne hanging on.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ghost working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Browne is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Graveyard Ghost dominated that round.
That's time! Ghost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Browne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ghost swivels and escapes.
Browne ducks under a wild hook from Ghost.
Browne takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Browne misses with a takedown attempt
and Ghost connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Browne is rocked!
Browne shoots in but Ghost avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Browne is still on wobbly legs! Can Ghost finish him?
Graveyard Ghost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Browne.

Browne instigates a clinch.

Ghost is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Browne can't fight it off and eventually Ghost manages to take the fight to the floor. Browne looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ghost passes Browne's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ghost passes the guard and advances to mount!
Browne is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Ghost! Browne is hurt baaadly! Ghost is firing away with more strikes - Browne is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Graveyard Ghost!
After winning the bout, Graveyard Ghost thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Simon Browne stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well, fuck me ...'.
