Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidalgo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya misses with a body shot.
Claude attempts a counter takedown but Montoya avoids it well and moves away.

Montoya stuffs the takedown attempt from Claude. Claude gets slowly back to his feet.
Hidalgo Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montoya uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A left and a right from Montoya both land. Nice combination.
Claude avoids a punch combination nicely.
Claude tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Montoya paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Montoya throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Claude fails in his attempt to clinch.
Montoya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Montoya takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Claude gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Claude throws a right and a left that Montoya avoids nicely.
Montoya looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A head kick misses from Claude.
Montoya scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Montoya getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Claude bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Montoya thows a left - swing and a miss!
Claude ducks under a wild hook from Montoya.
Claude tries to clinch but Montoya is having none of it.

Claude shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Montoya is trying to defend but Claude finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Montoya is staying active underneath Claude, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Claude is trying to control. Montoya wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Claude throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Claude is trying to work for a kimura but Montoya is defending well.
Montoya has his hands clasped together around Claude's back. He's all about the action.
Montoya has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Claude is working away from the top position though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Claude lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Montoya is trying is best to control the position here.
Claude will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Claude really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Claude maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Montoya could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Claude has cracked it and Montoya is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Claude!
