Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Nothing Else Matters - Apocalyptica. Nate Silva has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reefer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.

Reefer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

It looks like Christopher Reefer has been cut.

and Silva counters with a big head kick but Reefer shrugs it off.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Reefer doesn't seem phased though.

Reefer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Poor strikes thrown by Reefer there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Reefer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reefer off to one side.
