Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Like a surgeon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tyson Speed had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nice jab there from Edwards.
Speed throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Speed fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Speed takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Edwards misses with a wild body shot.
Speed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Edwards.
Edwards cracks Speed with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Speed lands a big head kick that sends Edwards tumbling to the mat! Speed takes a step backwards and waves Edwards back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Blake Edwards has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
Edwards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Speed throws out the jab.
Speed throws a right and a left that both miss.
It seemed like Edwards was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Speed wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Speed. Edwards does a little dance to reset his feet.
Despite the aggression on Edwards's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Speed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Speed scores with a head kick. Edwards tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Speed slips a jab from Edwards.

and Edwards counters with a right hand to the body.

Speed swings for the body but Edwards moves out of range.
Speed throws a left and a right that both miss
and Edwards cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Speed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Speed lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

That has opened up Blake Edwards's cut even more.
Edwards keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Edwards lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Speed throws a big shot that misses.
It seemed like Edwards was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Speed throws a shot to the body.
Speed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Speed misses with a head kick.
Edwards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Speed throws out the jab.

Speed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Edwards counters with a nice body shot.
Edwards throws out a loose jab but Speed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Speed seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A head kick from Speed lands but Edwards takes it in his stride.
Edwards misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Speed.
Speed is looking to wear down Edwards with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Speed jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice body punch from Edwards.
Speed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Edwards is looking for the big counter here.
A jab from Speed does it's job there.
Speed scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Edwards doesn't seem bothered though.
Speed throws a head kick that misses.
Tyson Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Speed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Edwards sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Speed checks a leg kick.
Edwards throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Speed stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
Speed is breathing heavily.

Speed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edwards momentarily.
Speed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Edwards keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Speed.
Speed throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

The cut above Blake Edwards's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Speed takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Edwards connects with an inside leg kick.
Edwards delivers a nice body kick.
Edwards dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Edwards is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Edwards scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Speed walks straight into a right hand from Edwards - that's dropped him! Edwards jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Speed from any more punishment! Speed complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
