PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jabree Lewis Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis Collins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem-Lose Yourself. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis Collins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Lewis Collins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lewis Collins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lewis Collins looks to land a right hand but Rodriguez moved out of range.
Rodriguez dives in and grabs Lewis Collins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lewis Collins pushes down on Rodriguez's head and hops out.
Lewis Collins tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodriguez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rodriguez was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Rodriguez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nice takedown defense from Rodriguez. No joy for Lewis Collins on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jabree Lewis Collins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rodriguez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rodriguez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lewis Collins is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lewis Collins has escaped and now he's on top!

Rodriguez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lewis Collins should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rodriguez has tightened it up now! Lewis Collins should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
