Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raja Barat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganbaatar Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen Power of the Soul (Mongolian Chant) as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Raja Barat has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Raja Barat seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ganbaatar Khan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Khan misses with a head kick.
Khan tries to clinch there but Barat circles away.
As Khan looks to move away, Barat throws a big counter combo bu Khan just gets out of the way.
Khan closes the distance but Barat moves to the side
and Khan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Khan moves into range and clinches up with Barat.
Barat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Khan unloads a knee to the mid-section. Barat lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Khan drives through and clinches with Barat against the cage.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Khan looks for the body kick but Barat saw that one coming.
Barat seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barat takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.

and Barat counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Khan rushes Barat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Khan breaks from the clinch.
A head kick misses from Khan.
Barat seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That kick from Khan tenderised Barat's leg. Barat is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Barat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Khan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Barat lands a jab-cross combination.
Barat keeps the fight on the outside.
Barat is looking for a counter combo.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Khan, right into the meat.
Khan tries to clinch but Barat moves away
and Barat counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Khan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Barat.
Barat is trying to break the clinch but Khan has him pressed against the cage.
Barat tries to break free but Khan pushes him back against the cage.

Khan manages to break the clinch.
Khan scores with a leg kick.
Barat lands with a good body shot.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

enabling Barat to counter with a crisp jab.
Barat is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
No joy there for Barat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Khan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barat seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barat lands a nice looking body shot.
Khan wants to clinch up but Barat keeps it at a distance.
Khan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Khan was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Khan drops his hands momentarily and Barat takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Barat appears to be looking for a big counter.
A nice combination there by Barat.
Barat looks to land a combination but Khan avoids it well.
It seemed like Khan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Barat is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Barat lands with a shot to the body.
Barat pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Khan back to the cage. Barat follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Khan is rocked!
Barat is pawing at Khan, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Khan's nose. Khan is badly hurt! Barat pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Khan tries desperately to hold on but Barat is relentless in his assault! As Khan receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Barat away and this one is in the books!
