Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Witson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker's entrance music is Mr Boombastic. A fine choice. Johny Witson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker has a takedown stuffed.
Despite the aggression on Witson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Witson closes the distance and pushes Becker back into the cage.
Witson has Becker pushed against the cage.
Witson connects with a knee to the head.
Witson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Becker backwards.
Witson lands with a light punch inside.
Witson lands a left hand that snaps the head of Becker backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Becker seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Witson is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Becker jumps guard but Witson stands there with Becker around his waist. Becker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Becker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Witson walks away with a smile on his face. Becker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Becker darts in looking for a takedown but Witson gets double underhooks and turns Becker into the cage.
Witson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Becker throws a jab but it's blocked by Witson.
Witson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Witson stops a takedown attempt from Becker.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Becker looking to throw knees to the head but Witson is blocking nicely.

Witson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Becker's face.

Becker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Witson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Witson counters with a one-two to the body.
Becker is rocked!
Witson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Oh Becker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Witson cracks Becker with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Becker tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Witson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Becker is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johny Witson!
A very excited looking Johny Witson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Wolfgang Becker stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck this shit I'm outta here!'.
