The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kluivert keeps the fight on the outside.
Kluivert throws a body kick that misses.
Mackintosh fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kluivert.
Mackintosh checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mackintosh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mackintosh throws a leg kick but Kluivert sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Kluivert closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mackintosh is trying to improve his position.
Kluivert trying to control the position but Mackintosh is working away.
Mackintosh is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Mackintosh struggling a bit here.
Mackintosh is not content to let Kluivert control the position.
Mackintosh is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kluivert cracks Mackintosh with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Kluivert is working to tighten his grip on Mackintosh's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mackintosh has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kluivert is really squeezing tight and eventually Mackintosh passes out! Kluivert breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
