Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Olhoffer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 30 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kingo Kongo!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olhoffer avoids the head kick by Kongo.
As Kongo looks to move away, Olhoffer throws a big counter combo bu Kongo just gets out of the way.
Olhoffer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Kingo Kongo has been cut.
Kongo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kongo's coach down at Animal House [14 Elite-All Skills Coached] was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kongo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice defenses there by Olhoffer.
Kongo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Olhoffer throwing a counter right hand but Kongo manages to avoid it.

Kongo rushes Olhoffer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kongo works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kongo just leaning against Olhoffer, taking a breather.

Olhoffer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Olhoffer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kongo counters with an outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from Kongo does no damage.
An attempted straight right counter from Olhoffer misses the target.
Olhoffer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A head kick misses from Kongo.
Olhoffer takes a swing at Kongo's ribcage but misses.
Olhoffer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Olhoffer lands a jab.
Kongo throws a head kick that misses
and Olhoffer counters with a straight right hand.
Olhoffer moves out of range as Kongo strikes.
Kongo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Olhoffer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kongo throws a poor cross that misses
and Olhoffer counters with a stiff right hand.


That has opened up Kingo Kongo's cut even more.
A low kick from Kongo misses
and Olhoffer counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Kongo to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Olhoffer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ray Olhoffer!
