Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between mark strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helios black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from strike.

black shoots in and bounces strike off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
strike looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
strike being controlled here, momentarily.

strike trying to keep a closed guard but black is proving a slippery customer.
black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. strike swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
strike has control of black's left arm, preventing black from doing any damage.
strike will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
strike not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. strike is keeping the position for now.
black stops strike from standing up.
black wants to pass the guard but strike is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
black trying to control but strike is working from the bottom.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

black shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
black stalling.

black should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
black is taking a breather. strike says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
black is looking to advance position but strike won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
strike trying to control but black postures up.
black is looking to take a break and control but strike is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

black looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - black has eaten all the pies!
strike manages to get to full guard.
strike looking to control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
black content to stall in guard here.
black trying to control but strike is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Helios black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
