Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Ronan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Down Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faustino Ronan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Faustino Ronan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Down Out!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ronan tries to avoid it but Out manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ronan to the ground. Ronan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ronan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ronan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ronan connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Out to the floor! Ronan dives in looking for the finish!

Out is rocked!

It looks like Down Out has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ronan is looking for a kimura here.
Out is still in real trouble! Can Ronan finish him?

Out actively working from the bottom here.
Out seems to have recovered his senses.
Out looks gassed!
Ronan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Out keeps working.
Out moves into full guard.

Out working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ronan has passed into half guard!
Ronan thows a huge punch but Out dodges it nicely.
Ronan wants to stand but Out has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Ronan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ronan moves into full mount! Out won't be happy about that!
Out is desperately trying to improve his position but Ronan has a good base and remains in mount.

Ronan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Out wants to control but Ronan is having none of it.
Out working to try and regain half guard.
Ronan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Out is wriggling around trying to escape.

Out keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ronan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Out is looking to escape.
Ronan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ronan prevents Out from getting the reversal.
Out is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Out taking shots to the head.

That has opened up Down Out's cut even more.
Out is trying desperately to improve position.
Ronan looking to control but Out is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Out regains half guard.
Out is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ronan trying to control the action but Out is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Down Out's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ronan tries to clinch but Out moves out of range.
Out looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ronan is fending him off so far but Out persists. Nope, Ronan circles away and we're back to standing.
Ronan fails in his attempt to clinch.

A head kick lands from Ronan that sends Out to the canvas. Out tries to scramble back to his feet but Ronan brings him back down into side control.
Out is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ronan off and has taken his back!

Out is breathing heavily.
Ronan turns into Out and is now in his guard.
Ronan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Out is looking for a triangle here but Ronan uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ronan tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Out tries to improve position but can't.
Ronan takes a little break here. Out wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ronan is looking to take a break and control but Out is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Out is looking to reverse the position.
Out sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Out wants to get back to full guard.
Ronan tries to stand but can't do so whilst Out controls his leg.
Out tries to get to full guard but Ronan has control of the leg.

Out is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ronan pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ronan drops Out with a left right combo! Ronan follows him down to the ground into side control.

The cut above Down Out's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Down Out's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
