The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Booker gets tackled into the cage by Hall. Hall maintains the clinch.

Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Booker, pushing him back against the cage.
Booker tries to pull guard but Hall won't allow it.

and Booker counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Hall is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Booker pulls him back up using the underhooks.

It looks like Vern Booker has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hall.
Vern Booker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Hall.

Hall darts in and clinches Booker up against the cage.

Hall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Booker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hall has managed to get both his arms back between Booker's legs - danger averted.

Booker is looking to cinch up a triangle. Hall throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Booker's body to avoid the submission. Booker has instead reached around Hall's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Booker arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
