The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leblanc defends well and Jones ends up having to push Leblanc into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Leblanc looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Leblanc lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Leblanc sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Leblanc avoids a punch combination nicely.
Leblanc appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A nice combination there by Jones.


It looks like Federico Leblanc has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leblanc manages to avoid it.

Leblanc tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jones tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Leblanc pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Leblanc follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Leblanc lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Leblanc blocks a head kick by Jones.
Leblanc is looking to counter punch.
Leblanc misses with a jab, cross combination.
Leblanc tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Leblanc has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jones is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leblanc walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Leblanc goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Leblanc lands a jab to the nose.
Leblanc thuds a left hand into Jones's body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leblanc stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.

That kick from Leblanc tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Leblanc slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
