Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zadimus Delacroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Gaylord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaylord fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Delacroix looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Delacroix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gaylord looks to land a right hand but Delacroix moved out of range.
Delacroix lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Delacroix takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

enabling Gaylord to counter with a crisp jab.

Gaylord has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Delacroix is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Delacroix fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gaylord fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Delacroix manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Gaylord.
A big right from Delacroix misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gaylord! But no joy.

Delacroix feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gaylord sprawling to the canvas! Gaylord rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Delacroix finish him?!

Gaylord is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Delacroix cracks Gaylord with a left hook right on the temple and Gaylord goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Delacroix lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Gaylord is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zadimus Delacroix!
Zadimus Delacroix got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
The defeated BJ Gaylord had this to say: 'you stroke me hard bitch!'.
