Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Inferi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Bobway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobway tries to clinch but Inferi is having none of it.
Inferi shoots for a double leg takedown but Bobway sprawls well. He's pushed Inferi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobway bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bobway gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bobway lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Inferi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bobway is fending him off so far but Inferi persists. Nope, Bobway circles away and we're back to standing.

Inferi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bobway looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bobway looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bobway!

Inferi throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Bobway lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bobway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inferi but Inferi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
