Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasper takes the fight into the clinch.
Volkov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jasper.
Jasper lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Volkov takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Viktor Volkov has been cut.
Volkov lands a body punch in the clinch.

Jasper creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Volkov's defenses.
Volkov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Volkov is pressed up against the cage. Jasper has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Volkov down to the mat. Volkov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jasper tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Volkov's elbow.
Jasper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Volkov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Volkov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jasper backwards.
Volkov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jasper can't fight it off and eventually Volkov manages to take the fight to the floor. Jasper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jasper lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jasper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jasper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
It looked like Volkov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Jasper thows a body kick. Volkov tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Volkov drives through with a takedown into Jasper's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Jasper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Volkov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Volkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jasper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Volkov has managed to get both his arms back between Jasper's legs - danger averted.

Jasper wants to stand but Volkov is controlling the position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jasper manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Volkov manages to get himself to full guard.
Jasper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Volkov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jasper, into his guard.
Volkov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jasper, up you get!
Jasper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Volkov sprawls well initially but Jasper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jasper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Volkov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jasper.

Volkov closes the distance and clinches up with Jasper, looking for a takedown. Volkov pushes Jasper against the cage but Jasper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jasper ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jasper no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jasper is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Volkov is controlling him.

Volkov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jasper tries to clinch up but Volkov circles away and keeps his distance.

Volkov decides to stand back up. Volkov steps back and let's Jasper get back to his feet.

Jasper throws a punch but it's blocked by Volkov.

Jasper keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Volkov's efforts to push away.

Volkov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jasper has him pressed against the cage.
Volkov is trying to drag Jasper to the mat but Jasper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jasper lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jasper has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Volkov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

After the fight, Jan Jasper was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
