And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David McKeehan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McKeehan rushes Oliver and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McKeehan is trying to force a seperation but Oliver has the dominant position.
McKeehan is trying to break the clinch but Oliver has him pressed against the cage.
McKeehan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
McKeehan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Oliver is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. McKeehan is defending well for now.
Oliver tries to pull guard but McKeehan holds him up against the cage and eventually Oliver drops back down to his feet.

It looks like Steven Oliver has been cut.
McKeehan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Oliver checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Oliver moves into range and clinches up with McKeehan.

McKeehan jumps guard.

Oliver postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McKeehan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oliver, into his guard.

McKeehan stands up from Oliver's guard - McKeehan perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McKeehan rushes Oliver and presses him up against the cage.

McKeehan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McKeehan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Oliver working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McKeehan is on top in guard.

Oliver looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McKeehan has picked Oliver up and slammed him! Oliver can't keep hold of the triangle and McKeehan manages to pass to side control!

McKeehan decides to stand back up. McKeehan steps back and let's Oliver get back to his feet.

McKeehan is pushing Oliver up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

McKeehan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oliver is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McKeehan.

Oliver throws a quick counter head kick but McKeehan was just out of range.
McKeehan shoots in and drives through. Oliver sprawls well.

McKeehan pushes Oliver up against the cage in a clinch.
McKeehan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Oliver avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
McKeehan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Oliver's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McKeehan moves into range and clinches up with Oliver.

McKeehan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
McKeehan is trying to drag Oliver to the mat but Oliver just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

David McKeehan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

David McKeehan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McKeehan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
