Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Escobar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mclean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Escobar is in Mclean's guard.
Mclean is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mclean has control of Escobar 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Escobar regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Escobar tries to hold on but Mclean pushes him away.

Mclean is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Escobar can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Escobar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mclean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Escobar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Escobar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Escobar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mclean keeps working.
Mclean tries to bench press Escobar off him but Escobar keeps the position.

Mclean is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Escobar 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Escobar 's back!

Escobar is trying to defend against the choke here but Mclean has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Mclean Tightens the hold and Escobar taps out furiously! Mclean displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
