The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Rodgers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Litmanen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rodgers as he avoids it easily.
Rodgers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Litmanen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rodgers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rodgers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Litmanen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Litmanen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodgers tries to avoid it but Litmanen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodgers to the ground. Rodgers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Litmanen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Litmanen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
