Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kliescik fails with a takedown attempt.
Hobbs went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
An inside leg kick from Hobbs misses.
Kliescik drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hobbs defends it well.
Kliescik blocks a low kick nicely.

Kliescik tries to pull guard but Hobbs won't allow it.
Hobbs is trying to drag Kliescik to the mat but Kliescik just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hobbs flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kliescik passes to side control.
Kliescik creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hobbs sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The strikes coming from Kliescik are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Hobbs tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kliescik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hobbs is trying to strike from the bottom but Kliescik has passed into full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hobbs blocking the ground and pound.
Hobbs tries to improve his position but instead Kliescik has taken his back!

Kliescik is persistently looking for the submission but Hobbs is defending it well.
Kliescik controlling well, preventing Hobbs from escaping the position.

Hobbs wants to stand and escape but instead Kliescik has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Kliescik stands and steps away. Hobbs gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Hobbs counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kliescik!

David Kliescik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kliescik pulls Hobbs in close to his closed guard and prevents Hobbs from doing any damage or advancing position.

Hobbs is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kliescik pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hobbs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

I would just about give that final round to David Kliescik.
I've got Kliescik winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
