Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Boyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caliman Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boyer quickly recovers to half guard.

Matos jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Boyer manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Matos has control of Boyer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Boyer regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Matos is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Boyer is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Boyer flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Matos anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Boyer and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Matos slips an arm under Boyer chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Matos has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Matos is squeezing on Boyer like an anaconda would it's prey. Boyer fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
