The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Sutherland.
Mitchell tries for a takedown but Sutherland circles away easily
and Sutherland counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sutherland has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mitchell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sutherland manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mitchell closes the distance and clinches up with Sutherland, looking for a takedown. Mitchell pushes Sutherland against the cage but Sutherland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sutherland looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A punch lands to the side of Mitchell 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Sutherland defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mitchell.

Sutherland throws a monster overhand right that drops Mitchell! Sutherland follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
