Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chesty Puller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puller has chosen Your Going Down as his entrance music. Chesty Puller will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Brody!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chesty Puller!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Puller circles away quickly and effectively.
Brody's jab looks to have found its range, popping Puller under the eye.
Brody fails to land with a series of punches.
Puller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Brody is looking for a sweep.
Brody manages to get back to half guard.
Brody is doing well to control the position and prevent Puller from advancing to side control.
Puller throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Brody to regain full guard.
Puller lands a couple of elbows.
Puller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Brody has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Puller off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Puller clinches up with Brody and pushes him back against the cage.
Brody looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Puller tries to pull guard but Brody won't allow it.

Puller jumps into guard, dragging Brody to the mat.
Puller lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Brody has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Puller is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Brody tries to break free but Puller pushes him back against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Puller breaks the clinch.

Brody misses with a combination
and Puller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Puller drives through with a takedown into Brody's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Puller wants to control from the top but Brody keeps moving.
Puller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Puller connects with a couple of short punches.

Puller cracks Brody with a solid left hand.
Brody is trying to control the position but Puller postures up.

Puller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Puller is in close to Brody's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brody looking to hit a scissor sweep but Puller is one step ahead there.

Puller cracks Brody with a solid left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chesty Puller dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Donk. Puller catches Brody right on the button with a cross.
Brody is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Brody throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Puller.
Oh Brody is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Puller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brody sprawls well. Brody wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Puller gets slowly back to his feet.
Brody swings for the body but Puller moves out of range.
Puller lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Brody seems to have got his legs back now.
Puller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brody sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Puller tries for a takedown but Brody sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
John Brody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chesty Puller.
Puller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brody tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Puller is in Brody's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brody works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Puller is working Brody over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Puller gets to his feet and stands over Brody, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Brody felt that one! Puller unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Brody from any more punishment!
