The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuno clinches up against the cage.
Dingus has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nuno avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nuno slowing the pace effectively.
Dingus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nuno just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nuno with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Wingus Dingus has been cut.
Nuno breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nuno stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nuno wants it to stay on the feet.
Mauricio Nuno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wingus Dingus.
Dingus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nuno.
Mauricio Nuno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nuno gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nuno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nuno tries to roll over but Dingus keeps him under control.
Dingus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nuno defends it well.
Dingus seems to be working for a kimura but Nuno defends the submission attempt.
Dingus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nuno is just riding it out for now. Dingus eventually gives up the hold.

Dingus maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nuno could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dingus has cracked it and Nuno is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dingus!
