Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Volcanic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alojz Černư (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volcanic misses with a double jab.
Černư drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Volcanic defends it well.
Černư shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Volcanic defends it nicely.
Černư misses with a leg kick
and Volcanic counters with a one-two to the body.
Volcanic throws a body punch but Černư moves out of range.
Volcanic tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Černư shoots in for a takedown but Volcanic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Černư shoots in looking for a takedown. Volcanic tries to sprawl out of it but Černư keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Volcanic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Danny Volcanic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alojz Černư.

Volcanic is looking for a sweep. Černư is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Volcanic is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Černư looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Volcanic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Černư has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Černư thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Černư thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Volcanic's head.
Volcanic pushes Černư off looking to stand but Černư dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A nice combination there by Volcanic.

Alojz Černư seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Volcanic.
Volcanic is looking to slow Černư down with leg kicks.

Volcanic lands a slapping body shot.
Volcanic has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Valhöll GYM in the buildup to the fight.
Černư shoots in looking for a takedown but Volcanic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Černư's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Volcanic is looking to wear down Černư with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Černư fails in his attempt to clinch.

Černư tries to score a power double leg takedown but Volcanic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Černư somewhat.
Černư closes the distance and clinches up with Volcanic, looking for a takedown. Černư pushes Volcanic against the cage but Volcanic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Volcanic lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Volcanic.

Volcanic connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Danny Volcanic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Volcanic lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Volcanic throws a head kick that half lands.
Černư is rocked!
Volcanic sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Černư's defenses. It connects perfectly with Černư's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
