Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yngve Ingvar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wedge Xiii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Yngve Ingvar has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yngve Ingvar seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiii ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ingvar moves away.
Ingvar throws a counter high kick but Xiii was just alert enough to avoid it.

We've been informed that Xiii has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Xiii lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Xiii shoots in looking for a takedown. Ingvar tries to sprawl out of it but Xiii keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ingvar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wedge Xiii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Yngve Ingvar will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
