The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz cracks Ragnar with a good jab.
Cruz loads up on a big right hand but Ragnar slips the punch.
A head kick misses from Ragnar.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cruz. Ragnar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ragnar lands a high kick!
Ragnar jabs Cruz right on the nose. Cruz blinks but takes it well.
Ragnar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cruz's sensitive parts.
Ragnar scores with a nice head shot.

Ragnar throws a right and a left that Cruz avoids nicely.
Cruz throws a hook but Ragnar avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Cruz does no damage.
Cruz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cruz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cruz throws a right and a left that Ragnar avoids nicely.
Ragnar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cruz.
Cruz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cruz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bjorn Ragnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ragnar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cruz slips under a jab.
Ragnar looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ragnar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ragnar lands with an overhand left.
Ragnar clobbers Cruz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ragnar tests Cruz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ragnar misses with a hook. Cruz ducked under it nicely.
Cruz wants to clinch but Ragnar slips to the side
and Ragnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cruz is rocked!
Cruz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cruz is still on wobbly legs! Can Ragnar finish him?
Ragnar lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Cruz up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Ragnar from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Cruz's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bjorn Ragnar!
A relieved looking Bjorn Ragnar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
