Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Beck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Beck looks to land a body kick but Wallace moved away.
Wallace scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Beck lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wallace doesn't seem phased though.
Wallace connects with a body shot.
Beck ducks under a wild hook from Wallace.
Beck keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses
and Beck counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We've been informed that Wallace has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Good leg kick by Beck there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wallace swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Beck cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Beck misses with a hook to the body
and Wallace counters with a nice leg kick.
Wallace walks forward, straight into a front kick from Beck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A low kick from Beck is predictable there
and Wallace counters with an inside leg kick.
Wallace cracks Beck with a right hand to the side of the head.


It looks like Hans Beck has been cut.
Beck looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beck walks into a straight right hand from Wallace.

Wallace connects with a solid leg kick.
Wallace moves out of range of the strikes.
Wallace just misses with a punch to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Beck checks a leg kick.
Beck thinks about countering with a head kick.
Wallace keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Beck tries to land a front kick but Wallace steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Beck throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Wallace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Wallace avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Wallace misses with a lunging right hand
and Beck counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Beck punishes Wallace's body with a nice straight punch.

Beck thumps Wallace with a low kick.
Russell Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wallace. That did some damage!
Nice shot lands for Beck.
Beck keeps Wallace at a distance using the push kick.
Wallace walks into a straight right hand from Beck.
Wallace misses with a wild body shot.
Beck getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wallace is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Beck rather than just go for the knockout.
Beck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Beck is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wallace throws a poor cross that misses
and Beck counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wallace looks winded!

Beck lands a big head kick that sends Wallace tumbling to the mat! Beck takes a step backwards and waves Wallace back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Beck counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Beck lands a nice shot to the body.

Beck lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Beck is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wallace swings widly with a right hand
and Beck counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Hans Beck decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
