The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Roulf's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Roulf will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roulf is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

Roulf really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Roulf doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Roulf escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
