The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay throws out a leg kick but Old moves out of range and Clay only half commits.
Old darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Old is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Old is looking to advance position but Clay won't allow it.
Old is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clay doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Old.
Old wants to pass to mount but Clay is defending the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Old is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Clay is trying to control but can't.
