Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dj Strait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bil Nye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nye has chosen LINE as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dj Strait!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bil Nye!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strait fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Strait closes the distance and clinches up with Nye, looking for a takedown. Strait pushes Nye against the cage but Nye circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nye tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Strait clinches up with Nye and pushes him back against the cage.
Strait lands an uppercut.
Nye manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Strait breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nye goes for a double leg but Strait avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Strait continues to drive forward.
Strait throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Strait moves in looking to clinch but Nye pushes him off.
Nye shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Strait defends it nicely.
Nye looks winded!
Nye fails to land the takedown.
Dj Strait has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bil Nye.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Strait closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Strait breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nye looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Strait scores with a head kick.
Strait really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Strait lands a slapping body shot.
Strait lands a high kick!
Nye shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strait but Strait pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Strait moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Nye shoots in and gets a takedown into Strait's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strait is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Strait working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Strait wants to take a breather but Nye is having none of it.
Nye tries to get to full guard but Strait has control of the leg.
Strait landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Strait is looking to stall here but Nye recovers full guard.
Strait trying to control but Nye is working from the bottom.

Strait throwing strikes from guard but Nye blocks nicely.

Strait is posturing up here but Nye has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Strait tries to roll out but it's too tight and Strait has to tap! Slick submission there by Nye!

Bil Nye bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
