Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kuznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuznetsov has chosen Siberia - Cold winter night whispers as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Kuznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov leaves Bishop with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kuznetsov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bishop momentarily.
Bishop shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kuznetsov defends it nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bishop or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuznetsov, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lance Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kuznetsov stuffs the takedown attempt from Bishop. Bishop gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuznetsov digs a good hook to Bishop's body.

It looks like Lance Bishop has been cut.
Bishop throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kuznetsov's waist but Kuznetsov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bishop off to one side.
Kuznetsov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kuznetsov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kuznetsov has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bishop is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Kuznetsov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bishop was well out of range. Poor timing from Kuznetsov.
The crowd cheers as Kuznetsov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bishop doesn't seem phased though.
Bishop throws a shot to the body.
Bishop doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kuznetsov lands with a nice body punch.
Bishop tries for a takedown but Kuznetsov circles away easily

and Kuznetsov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bishop! Kuznetsov lets Bishop back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Bishop is rocked!
Bishop is breathing heavily.

Kuznetsov is stalking Bishop. Bishop circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Kuznetsov, and it's lights out! Bishop really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
