The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Webbs sprawls well. Webbs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fitzpatrick gets slowly back to his feet.
Fitzpatrick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Webbs tries to avoid it but Fitzpatrick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Webbs to the ground. Webbs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fitzpatrick has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Webbs! Fitzpatrick is out on his feet! Webbs rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Fitzpatrick is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Fitzpatrick is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
