Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kioshi Kemauchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shojo Shoujou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shojo Shoujou!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Shoujou there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Shoujou shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kemauchi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shoujou.
Shoujou throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shoujou scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shoujou throws a strike but Kemauchi avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Kemauchi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shoujou defends well.
Kemauchi is trying to keep Shoujou in close.
Shoujou controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shoujou trying to control but Kemauchi is working from the bottom.
Shoujou content to stall in guard here.

Kemauchi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shoujou drops back looking for a leg! Kemauchi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kemauchi manages to kick Shoujou off! Shoujou jumps back into Kemauchi's guard.
Shoujou is posturing up here but Kemauchi has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Shoujou tries to roll out but it's too tight and Shoujou has to tap! Slick submission there by Kemauchi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kioshi Kemauchi!
