Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Bond is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bond keeps the fight on the outside.
Balboa wants to clinch up but Bond keeps it at a distance.
Balboa throws a hook but Bond avoids it easily.

A nice leg kick lands there from Balboa.
Bond shoots in but no luck this time.
Balboa misses with a wild body shot.
Bond circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bond looks for a takedown but Balboa sprawls well.

Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Bond.

Balboa forces Bond back against the cage and clinches.

Balboa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bond has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

and Bond counters with a shoot takedown. Balboa fights it but they end up in guard.
Bond postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Balboa keeping full guard, as Bond tries to pass.
Bond passes Balboa's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bond passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Balboa!
Bond fails to advance to Balboa's back.
Balboa is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Bond mounts Balboa! Really nice guard pass there!

Bond postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Balboa looks a forlorn figure.
Bond is trying to take his opponent's back.
Bond putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Bond is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bond extends the arm and Balboa is forced to tap!
