The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fryer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Montalban can pounce on him.
Fryer shoots for a double leg takedown but Montalban sprawls well. He's pushed Fryer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Montalban looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Montalban throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fryer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Montalban has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Good leg kick by Montalban there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fryer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Montalban circles away.

Montalban drops Fryer with a beautiful combination! Fryer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Montalban is looking for the KO!

Montalban fakes the body blow, causing Fryer to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Fryer goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
