Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jules Verne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Verne comes into the arena with Christina Milian - When you look at me blaring out of the sound system. Jules Verne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox tries to clinch up but Verne circles away and keeps his distance.
Verne misses with a hook. Lennox ducked under it nicely.
Verne lands a nice shot that snaps Lennox's head back.

It looks like Larry Lennox has been cut.
Lennox tries to move into range but Verne moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Larry Lennox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lennox is looking to clinch but Verne is avoiding it.

Lennox drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Verne tries to bench press Lennox off him but Lennox keeps the position.
Lennox has control of an arm but Verne manages to advance to Lennox's back!

Lennox is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Lennox gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Lennox gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Lennox apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Verne moves forwards but Lennox connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Verne scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Lennox tries to clinch but Verne moves out of range.
Verne avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lennox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Verne swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Verne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lennox manages to avoid it.

Lennox shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Verne's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jules Verne will probably get the nod.
