The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousey wants to clinch.

And Rousey tries to counter it with a takedown but Lynch pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lynch feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Jeremy Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rousey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lynch lands with a nice body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rousey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lynch to the ground. Rousey is now in Lynch's guard.

Rousey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lynch is desperately trying to improve his position but Rousey has a good base and remains in mount.
Rousey is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lynch can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lynch takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Rousey's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
