The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaMotta clinches.
Darrow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt LaMotta or not.
Darrow throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Darrow lands a nice uppercut.
Darrow tries to land a knee to the head but LaMotta blocks with his arms.
LaMotta has a couple of punches blocked by Darrow.
Darrow can't find room to land a body shot as LaMotta controls the action.

LaMotta tries to stall but Darrow uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
LaMotta is working for takedown but Darrow is calmly controlling the position for now.
Darrow lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of LaMotta backwards.

LaMotta blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

LaMotta is trying to drag Darrow to the mat but Darrow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Evan Darrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake LaMotta.

Darrow is pressed up against the cage. LaMotta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Darrow down to the mat. Darrow avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Darrow throws a powerful right kick. LaMotta tried to block low but the kick was high! LaMotta was taken right off of his feet! Darrow jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
