The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Owen slips under a jab from Marquet.
Marquet throws a right and a left that both miss.

Owen forces Marquet back against the cage and clinches.
Marquet just leaning against Owen, taking a breather.
Owen lands a body punch in the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Owen tries to throw a body punch but Marquet avoids it by throwing Owen back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Marquet.
Owen crunches a lovely knee into Marquet's ribcage.

Owen stalling against the cage.
Marquet is trying to push Owen away but Owen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Owen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Marquet's elbow.
Owen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Marquet is defending well for now.

Owen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marquet connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Owen's hands.

It looks like Rolland Owen has been cut.
Owen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
and Marquet counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Owen! He's just covering up as Marquet starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
