Belfort kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Evan Blues-Beyond the stars. The crowd seem to be enjoying Humungus's choice of entrance music: This Life. Vitor Belfort has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belfort dives in and scores a takedown into Humungus's guard.
Humungus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Belfort drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Humungus dives on top into guard.

Humungus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfort looking to hit a scissor sweep but Humungus is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belfort keeping moving, preventing Humungus from controlling successfully.
Belfort working a defensive guard but Humungus passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Humungus performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Humungus thows a huge punch but Belfort dodges it nicely.

Humungus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Belfort is just riding it out for now. Humungus eventually gives up the hold.
Humungus is pressing down on Belfort's thigh, looking to free his foot. Belfort is holding on for now.

Humungus is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Humungus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Humungus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belfort sees it coming and defends easily.
Humungus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Humungus passes the guard and advances to mount!

Humungus looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Belfort sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Humungus is looking for a kimura here.
