Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Norberto French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DJ Shadow - Organ Donor. The key to victory for Norberto French has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Norberto French!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a swing at French's ribcage but misses.
French is looking to counter punch.
Cory Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones uses his free foot to push down on French's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for French.
Jones landing strikes from the mount.
French tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jones looking to control but French is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
French wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
French in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
French is rocked!
Jones postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked French badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jones around the waist but Jones pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jones is the winner by TKO! Jones jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Jones!
An out of breath Cory Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
