Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dux has chosen Bloodsport as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dux gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dux shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thomas pinned against the cage. Thomas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Dux tries for a takedown but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dux shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Dux keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nick Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Dux.

Thomas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dux looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dux lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Thomas!

Dux is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Thomas can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Dux has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Thomas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dux has tightened it up now! Thomas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
