Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Kaczka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pedro Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabriel Kaczka!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaczka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Frost napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaczka throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Kaczka throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Frost works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Frost is not content to let Kaczka control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frost pulls Kaczka in to control the position.

Kaczka wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Frost wants to improve his position but instead Kaczka has moved into half guard.
Frost is pressing down on Kaczka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kaczka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kaczka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Frost sprawls well initially but Kaczka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kaczka is looking to stall here but Frost recovers full guard.
Kaczka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Frost can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kaczka controls the pace.
Kaczka trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Frost has a closed guard, preventing Kaczka from standing up.
Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kaczka's guard.

Frost in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Frost stands and steps away. Kaczka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kaczka loads up on a big right hand but Frost slips the punch.

Kaczka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Frost is looking for a sweep. Kaczka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gabriel Kaczka dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Kaczka shoots in and gets a takedown into Frost's guard.
Frost really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kaczka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kaczka passes into half guard.
Frost keeps control of the position for the meantime.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaczka is stalling here. Frost is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kaczka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Frost has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Kaczka is trying to control Frost's posture but Frost avoids it.
Kaczka is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Frost is staying active.
Kaczka tries to buck Frost off but Frost is having none of it.

Frost stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kaczka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frost was covering up waiting for the punch and Kaczka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Frost looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kaczka is one step ahead there.
Kaczka wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kaczka shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kaczka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Frost preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kaczka not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Frost wants to get back to his feet.

Kaczka is looking for a kimura here.
Frost is positioning himself well to prevent Kaczka advancing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gabriel Kaczka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Frost counters with a big head kick but Kaczka shrugs it off.

Frost is doing well to control the position and prevent Kaczka from advancing to side control.

Kaczka thows a huge punch but Frost dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kaczka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kaczka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kaczka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kaczka wants to control but Frost is keeping him busy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kaczka is looking to stand up but Frost won't let him.
